Hello Margaret - Greetings from Macs' house. He is lying at my feet now, after his lunch. He had 3 visitors when we arrived home - our next door mom, and 2 of her young boys - he was so good with them, and happy to be with them. Today, our good friends who are dog lovers, and have two dogs - both of whom they rescued as puppies from the SPCA (she is on the board), thinking they were Jack Russells, but who turned out to be about 3 times as big, arrived with some toys and treats. She was rolling around on our lawn with Macs, and he was having a great time. He's settled in so well. The ride home began with him on my lap, and when we hit the 401, into the crate. He cried for a few minutes, and then settled in. We took him out of the crate in Durham, where we had a bite to eat, and walked him around on the grass, and he was interested in everything. His first night started with about 5 minutes of crying in his crate, and then he slept until 7:10. Last night was maybe 2 min. of crying, and then the same routine. At this point he's partial to me, and that's probably due to the female voice that he has heard more often. John is an early riser, so they can bond in the mornings. So, we couldn't be happier with his disposition, and his quick learning skills. We'll be in touch with you whenever a significant event occurs. Cheers, S.M.

June 2011 My husband and I have 3 Vizslas and a GSP, we live on 75 acres and Barclay, now known as Grriffin, runs with our other dogs daily. We also have 4 Hanoverian horses and several cats, all of whom get along with each other. Grriffin has been a joy, has chosen our female Vizsla, Skye, as his best friend and they love to share the paddle pool after a run.

We just adore him and he has already provided us with endless hours of entertainment. A.G.

March 2011 Beautiful Piper has certainly been keeping us very busy! She is an absolute joy to have in our lives, and it's only been three weeks. How quickly it goes!
She is doing well and has been great in terms of crate training. She does not protest or bark at all when she goes into her crate and she sleeps there for almost ten hours. My in laws bought a book for us on Parson Russells and it's been interesting to learn about their breed. She really enjoys lying on her new bed too, and it's cute to watch her bounce on it with her toys.
Piper also had her second round of shots and the vet said she did very well during the procedure. She did not bark, or cry or anything like that. She was just a little tired the next day, but he said that was to be expected.
She is also getting used to being around our friends and family, and their dogs. She gets along really well with bigger dogs and prefers to play with them.

Sept 2010 "I got Max from EysianField September 2010 at one year old. I have to say he is the most loveable, mild mannered dog I have ever come across. I have to thank Margaret and the rest of the team for ensuring their focus on breeding dogs for good temperament above breeding for show. Max is the first dog I have owned and he is a wonderful, welcome addition to my home. I cannot imagine my life without him." C.C.

April '04 "You probably don't remember us, we bought a puppy from you almost three years ago Mulligan. He is wonderful dog, full of energy, love and intelligence. We have recently added to our pack a baby boy (human) and Mulligan has been wonderful with the baby. We get so many compliments on Mulligan, because he is so well behaved loves dogs, kids, cats and people, and because he is so good looking. We recommend ElysianField to any who ask where we got him from. He is the perfect family pet for us, he walks with the stroller he is also quite the lap dog. Thank you so much for engineering such a lovely dog, and in a couple of years we hope to come visit, looking for a little girl puppy to add to our pack, Mully Mo would love that! Keep up the good work."

"Clover is doing great. She came through her spay with no problems at all. The girls at the vet's office said she was up and ready to go right away. No grogginess for her! We were instructed to reduce her level of exercise for 7 days following the procedure. Needless to say, we were all a little stir crazy by the end of the 7 days. Clover was raring to go out for a walk by the time she was able. As excited as she was to be out again, she was still able to pass her obedience test on her 7th day." S. G.

"Cedar is doing great, and growing like a weed! She stopped crying at night by the end of the first week. We are learning lots of new commands. She is absolutely the sweetest, most lovable, spunky, and funny little girl. I can't imagine life before her." V.P.

"Abby is doing well in her puppy kindergarten class. She is learning the verbal and hand signals for sit, down, come and stand. We are also teaching her a few other commands on our own. She's a very fast learner and loves to train, especially when cookies are involved. Her temperament is wonderful; she loves people especially kids and is very well behaved around other dogs also." K.R.

"I think Perky is beautiful, she takes my breath away at times. She is close to 13" now." B.K.

"Bella's temperament has remained as wonderful as the day we picked her up. She's friendly to every animal she meets, be it cat or dog or rabbit or anything else." M.H

"Riley continues to be an absolute joy. He makes us laugh to tears almost every day. He has trained well, and only very infrequently do we want to "sell him to the gypsies". He is well socialized, gets lots of walks and exercise and obviously, tons of love!" D.O.

"Thank you for a wonderful puppy, mom and dad are watching tv with him (Cocoa) as we speak." C.P

"Toby is 8 months old now and an amazing, awesome dog. He is intelligent, affectionate and completely even tempered. He has been to puppy class and was, of course, the brightest star in the class! He learns new tricks faster than lightning!" K. M.
